How about joining a short trip before Dokuonji Zazen Session
We will only walk around Takatori-yama area this time.
The summit has a 139 m in height and walking distance is around 3 km, therefore this trip is more like strolling rather than hiking.
You can enjoy many attractions as if you were in the Indiana Jones fantasy.
For example, the Future Buddha (Maitreya) sculpture was caved in the large stone, a lot of huge perpendicular sheer rocks which are partly covered by ivy and many types of plants, and the mysterious cave where the walls were printed with various kinds of Buddha portrayals. Also, the natural flora and great views from far and near around this Takatori-yama area.
If you want to join us, please wear hiking boots or good walking shoes and pack a picnic lunch (lunch, drink, snack, your own seat and garbage bag).
